Tour Program:
* Departure from Roghudi: 8:00 After leaving Roghudi, we will head to Scilla, one of the gems of the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, with a journey of about one hour.
Arrival in Scilla and visit to Chianalea The tour begins in the charming district of Chianalea, known for its houses built directly on the sea, connected by narrow alleys. You’ll walk through this fishing village, soaking in its timeless atmosphere and peaceful charm. The fishermen’s boats moored in front of the houses create a picturesque scene, perfect for unforgettable photos.
Visit to Ruffo Castle The second part of the tour includes a visit to Ruffo Castle, towering above the town on a rocky spur. This castle, once a noble residence and military fortress, offers a spectacular view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Strait of Messina. You’ll explore the castle’s history and discover the legends of Scylla and Charybdis, mythical sea monsters from Greek mythology.
